Is it free to sign up?

Yes! There are no sign up fees. The utility will continue to do the meter reading, billing and emergency service. They
will also continue to be responsible for transmission and distribution.

Who is providing the electricity?
When you sign up, your electricity will be supplied by Dominion Energy Solutions. Dominion Energy Solutions has been an
electricity supplier since 1997 and serves more than two million homes and businesses in 15 states, providing electricity,
natural gas and related services.
Who do I call for an emergency?
In the event of an emergency such as a power failure or a downed power line, call the local distribution company, your utility.
The CL&P number is 1-800-286-2000. The UI number is 1-800-722-5584
Will I still receive just one bill?
Yes, one bill from your utility.
