How can signing up with LEVCO lower my electricity price?

LEVCO is the largest active competitor in the newly deregulated Connecticut electricity market. We currently provide a lower price to more than 35,000 customers as compared to the utility's Generation Services Charge on the utility bill. The utilitiy will continue to do the meter reading, billing and emergency service. They will also continue to be responsible for transmission and distribution.

Who is providing the electricity?

When you sign up with LEVCO, your electricity will be supplied by Dominion Retail, Inc., a subsidiary of Dominion Resources, Inc. Dominion is one of the nation's largest producers of energy, including a 2000 megawatt power station in Connecticut.

Are there any hidden charges?

No, it is free to enroll and you may cancel at anytime.

Who do I call for an emergency?

In the event of an emergency such as a power failure or a downed power line, call the local distribution company, your utility.   The CL&P number is 1-800-286-2000.  The UI number          is 1-800-722-5584 .

Will I still receive just one bill?

Yes, one bill from your utility.
